The Cable Station Vineyard is situated in a picturesque valley near the South Eastern coastline of Marlborough, New Zealand´s premium wine region. In 1938 a communication cable was laid across Cook Strait linking the north and south islands of New Zealand, this cable terminated close to where the Cable Station vineyard is now established. The knot featured on the label is a symbol of the joining of the two islands by this cable.This label was first released in the UK and the USA and is also now gracing shelves and tables in Hong Kong, mainland China and Australia.
